WATCH my bling......
These are Maison Martin Margiela's lovely re-invention. By changing functionality of ordinary objects. Most designers would call this "Evolution" means to improve from original creation : p
Gold knitting.......can't remember where I googled these. Aren't they lovely?! Adding fragility to otherwise tough-looking silver. Brilliant contrasting concept!
INNOVATE, INNOVATE, INNOVATE!
INNOVATE, INNOVATE, INNOVATE!
INNOVATE, INNOVATE, INNOVATE!
INNOVATE, INNOVATE, INNOVATE!
Key words for creativity!
Sigh......I've not been very productive lately. Blame it on too much procrastination and pure laziness : (
So here's the last key words for myself!
JUST DO IT!

New found love for agate slices...
I've been shopping around for materials to incorporate into Little Li jewelry line. These agate slices called out to me. Each slice is unique of it's own cos' no two pieces will look alike. Agate are so translucent and looked absolutely gorgeous when held against light. Hence I've brought home a few pieces to experiment.
Above are some playful mixing which I think would be nice to develop into unique pendents : )

Inspiration - Anndra Neen
Thanks to my faithful fan P, I was introduce to Anndra Neen. Jewelry designers Phoebe and Annette Stephens has strong artistic bloodline and influence. Their grandmother Annette Nancarrow, was a painter, sculptor and jewelry designer, and her husband was the well-known avant-garde composer Conlon Nancarrow. Based in Mexico City in the 1930s and 1940s, the couple ran in haute artistic circles, with a coterie of close friends that included Diego Rivera, Frida Kahlo, Jose Clemente Orozco and Anais Nin.
All jewelry were handcrafted from copper, brass and nickel silver in their Mexico City workshop, each piece is architectural and unique. “We like to think of our jewels as sculptures,” Phoebe says. “They’re like beautiful objects that happen to be wearable.”
Ooooouuuu! Such an inspiration....sometimes I do wonder if my great great grand parents were artistic too : p Even not I will have no FEAR because my Heavenly Father is the ultimate creator of all things beautiful!

Private Assignment 005 - Pendent with necklace
This unique pendent went through quite a dramatic change. I was experimenting with silver clay. Attempting to apply silver clay directly onto a coral, hoping it will be strong enough to withstand the high temperature of firing.
(Above image) Sadly the coral pendent was "inwardly" fragile and broke into tiny pieces when I was polishing it...in the final stage of assembly! Fortunately JH's initial was still intact. Hence I've to remake a new pendent with the surviving silver. I'm glad the final design looked far better than the first. It's truly a blessing in disguise !
This unique pendent is made of 999 silver, oxidized with graduation tone from copper-ish, bronze-ish to silver, complimenting with a natural freshwater pearl hand-drilled into the coral and worn on 925 silver cable chain. Here's JH happily wearing her unique necklace : )
